The Fishing Village Combo
Most people visiting Starfish Beach pay for the boat, order food, and only see the total at the end. This is one fixed price for everything, agreed before you sit down. Arrive when you like — it isn’t a scheduled tour.

You can see starfish all year. What changes is how clear the water is — more rain means less visibility. Tap a month to see what to expect.
Come in the afternoon if you can
Most people arrive before noon. Come after 14:00 and the bridge is quiet, the boat is yours, and you’ll be eating as the sun goes down behind the ocean. It’s the best light of the day and it costs the same.

This is the place
A wooden bridge, a house on stilts, hammocks, and the sea underneath the floorboards.
Our house from above – located 200 meters in the ocean connected by a wooden bridge.
Every table is overlooking the water and the mountains.
Starfish Beach is full of red starfish, but please do not take them out of the water.
Visit in the late afternoon for a more quiet experience as well as enjoying the stunning sunset.
There are many activities around our floating restaurant, children can be entertained for hours.
Shell jewellery workshop, when the sea is too rough to snorkel. (only in the combo)
Getting here
Nhà Trên Biển – Joy Adventures, Rạch Vẹm, Gành Dầu, Phú Quốc. About 45 minutes north of Dương Đông.
Before you arrive, read this. Some taxi and Grab drivers get a commission for bringing tourists to a different restaurant, and will tell you we’re closed, full, or hard to reach. It isn’t true. Tell your driver firmly: Nhà Trên Biển – Joy Adventure, Rạch Vẹm. As you come into the village, people may also wave you down and try to take you to their own boat. Keep going until you see our sign. If you get lost or a driver won’t take you, call us on +84 703 397 404 and we’ll sort it out.
Grab or taxi is easiest
Hard to get one back, so ask us and we’ll book a driver who waits for you.
At the T-intersection, go straight
The last stretch is red dirt. Fine on a scooter if you’re confident.
Turn right at our sign, then park at our free parking lot.
Our sign says Nhà Trên Biển — Joy Adventures. There is plenty of parking space, and it’s free.
Walk the bridge, then order before the boat
Food is cooked fresh, so order first and it’s ready when you get back.
Rainy season is May–November and the sea can change fast. Message us in the morning and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s a good day for starfish.
Come and eat, or book the whole day
You can turn up any day between 8:00 and 17:00 without booking. But it helps us a lot to know you’re coming.
